It is a real honour to welcome you to Beech Hall School Riyadh: a truly innovative and inclusive school in the heart of Riyadh. We are so proud of our children, and our school community, and our doors are always open to welcome more people into our school family.
We proudly place our children at the centre of every decision we take as a school, and everything that we do is with the ambition of ensuring our children are happy, confidence and able to reach and unleash their potential. Every child is unique and deserves their chance to shine, and feel that they contribute positively to the world around them. Whatever their skills and talents, we capitalise on them so that they also experience success and can see the amazing progress that they are making.
At Beech Hall School Riyadh, we are encouraging the children to be future-facing, and work hard to ensure that they are fully ready for the ever changing world around them. Part of that is done through powerful, trusting relationships between adults and children. The other way in which we do this is through our innovative and bespoke Beech Hall Tapestry: our curriculum framework that focuses on the key areas that we know our children need to be confident with. We believe that by combining a world class curriculum, with highly skilled and passionate teachers, in a bespoke and inspiring learning environment, we can bring out the best in every child.
I often say that choosing a school is like buying a house. You will see the details of many places, but it is only when you can come and visit in person, and feel what it would be like to be here, that you can decide what is best for you as a family. 🎓 Discover Possibilities at Beech Hall Riyadh`s Senior School!
For our older children from Grade 7, our curriculum offers diverse options. From Grade 9, students pursue the American diploma, earning credits towards graduation. In Grade 11, students can transition to the International Baccalaureate program.
Our staff are trained in both the IB and US diplomas, which emphasise the skills of critical thinking, project-based learning, problem-solving and collaborative learning. Our learning experience is expanded by a full after-school program, including activities in arts, drama, and sports.

Mawhiba, a non-profit organisation founded by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and supported by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, is dedicated to identifying and nurturing talented students in scientific fields. It strives to establish a national system for giftedness and creativity in Saudi Arabia, actively contributing to the Kingdom`s Vision 2030.
We are immensely proud of the hard work and dedication demonstrated by all our children in pushing the boundaries of their education and we can’t wait to see what they take on next! 👏

As we look ahead to August and the new school year, we do, sadly, have to say thank you and farewell to some people who have become dear to all of us.
This summer will see us wish one particular staff member the fondest of farewells.
After nearly 2 years at Beech Hall School Riyadh, Julia Knight is moving on to a very new and exciting project, much closer to her home in Bahrain. This will enable her to be with her family, whom she misses very much. Julia has been a force for good, having led Primary and Secondary Girls, whilst also taking a leading role in Admissions and Marketing.
We wish Ms Julia every success and happiness. She will always hold a special place at Beech Hall School Riyadh.
Ms Clemmie: "We are very sad to say goodbye to Julia Knight MCCT - there will be the time and space to say goodbye and thank you when the term ends and the work is done, but I’ll be forever grateful to Julia for the hard graft, the support and the direction in which she has taken our school. Even today, leading amazing training, supporting our trainees and overseeing an awesome stay and play. She will leave a big hole."
We are delighted to announce the appointment of three new members of our Senior Leadership Team that will be joining Beech Hall School Riyadh in August 2024!
Chris Parfitt is joining our school as our new Head of Seniors. He has been an educator for 17 years and has held middle and senior leadership roles in the UK and internationally, in the Middle East, China and Central Asia. He truly believes in fully inclusive education, championing equal educational opportunities for all students and striving to provide the very best in experiences and outcomes for all students.
With over four years’ experience within the Chatsworth group of schools, Sarah Hobby is making the move to Riyadh to become our new Head of Primary. She has a deep-seated belief in the power of an inclusive and innovative education to transform lives, ensuring that children are not just heard but central in their educational journey.
Dr Reham Elshamy will be taking on a new role as our Deputy Head from this Summer. She is a mother of three amazing children, a dedicated and passionate educator and a visionary leader with a wealth of expertise in teaching and leading different curricula including American Curriculum (NGSS), International Baccalaureate (IB), International Curriculum (ICA), and the British Curriculum (IGCSE). As an already valued member of the BHSR community, we are delighted to see her take on a new position.
