The Head of HR role is of critical importance to the successful running of the school, overseeing all employee related matters, including vetting staff, managing and administering all employment issues, providing advice and guidance for all staff and ensuring compliance with necessary policy and legislation.

The Head of HR will provide a warm and supportive environment for staff, whilst operating at the highest professional standards.

Staff at Beech Hall School will be responsible for delivering a bespoke approach to learning through a new lens, with emphasis placed on growing minds, hearts, eco responsibility, digital, innovation and being part of a global community. Core Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection

  • Work with the leadership team to lead recruitment in a proactive manner;
  • Coordinate the recruitment process from start to finish;
  • Produce the correct documentation throughout (such as advertisements, job descriptions, interview paperwork and offer letters and contracts)
  • Carry our all pre-employment checks in accordance with safer recruitment and local law;
  • Liaise with agencies as required;
  • Ensure staff induction and on-boarding is managed effectively;
  • Support new staff coming to the country with the visa process, housing and other relocation related matters;
  • Assist and support succession planning within BHSR;
  • Ensure off-boarding is managed in a timely and effective way.
